Cahaba Media Group discontinues GRAPHICS PRO EXPO trade show series

Cahaba Media Group (CMG), parent company of GRAPHICS PRO magazine, has announced the discontinuation of the GRAPHICS PRO EXPO (GPX) trade show series.

“When we acquired GPX, we believed in the event’s potential and in the value of bringing this industry together in person,” said Matthew Conroy, president & CEO of Cahaba Media Group. “The reality is that buyer behavior in the small and mid-sized shops that were at the heart of GPX’s audience shifted coming out of the pandemic — many moved their research and purchasing online, and that attendance base simply didn’t return. But readership for GRAPHICS PRO’s print and digital content has remained strong. The audience is still there — how they engage has changed.”

GRAPHICS PRO will continue to serve its three core markets: signage and wide-format printing, awards and customization, and apparel decoration. In addition to its monthly print magazine and recently redesigned digital edition, new products are planned for the coming months.

“We remain deeply committed to this industry and the people in it,” Conroy said. “That isn’t changing — just the shape it takes.

Founded in 2002 and headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, Cahaba Media Group produces trade magazines, digital media, and events serving specialized industries. Its portfolio of brands includes GRAPHICS PRO, Pumps & Systems, Construction Business Owner, RV PRO, THE SHOP, HomeCare, and Butane-Propane News.
